Sony A7R II

After a great deal of considerations I finally bit the bullet and got myself a Sony A7R II, and I have no regrets. It's a crazy camera. 42 megapixels and image stabilization directly in the camera body. Every single lens I own is now image stabilized!
So, what will 42 megapixels give you? Well, above you see a picture of my colleague shot with the amazing Zeiss Batis 85mm/f1.8, and a zoomed in 1:1 version of the same shot. There's a crazy amount of details here.
But apart from the resolution, the image stabilization is pretty amazing as well. I bought the fairly cheap Sony FE 24-240/f3.5-6.3 superzoom to have as a allround lens. It's a bit heavier and larger than the Zeiss 28-70/f4 but have far better reach. It's not an awesome lens in itself, but with the image stabilization and the large zoom range, I could take these two photos from the same position:
That's pretty awesome!
