Update on the lightsaber project

This is about my lightsaber project that I last wrote about här. It’s not finished yet, but it has come a bit further along the way. In the meantime, I managed to ruin a couple of LED strips because they are apparently very sensitive to being connected incorrectly, which was easy to do since there were no instructions about which wires led to what on the LED strip. Oops.
But after testing and purchasing new strips, they are fully assembled and should work as intended. I also had to buy an Arduino because my Raspberry Pi couldn’t handle four LED strips simultaneously for some reason, but that’s okay, the Arduino is easy to program and manage.
The current status is that all four tubes with LED strips are mounted on a board along with the four handles. The next step is to mount all the electronics behind this board and then program everything so it works as intended. So there will be more updates, hopefully once it’s finally finished!
